The trail starts from the hamlet of Casa Lazzati, also known as "Principato di Casa Lazzati", it climbs on the mountain ridge and then continues towards the “Cippo dei due regni” (the Milestone of the two Reigns), which used to mark the border between the Reign of Sardinia and the Dukedom of Parma and Piacenza.
