Nature

Romagnese preserves a precious natural heritage that you can discover by hiking along the trails or by visiting the Alpine Garden of Pietra Corva

Green woods, flowers of incomparable beauty and a rich and varied fauna make up the natural mosaic of the Alta Val Tidone and, in particular, of the Borgo di Romagnese and its territory.

The mountain nature, which manifests itself in all its splendor throughout the year, is carefully preserved so that it can continue to be studied by future generations. Thousands of different species of flowers and plants, both native and non-native, can be admired inside the Botanical Garden of Pietra Corva, an unmissable stop to get to know the flora and fauna of the Alta Val Tidone set against a breathtaking backdrop.

Those who love practicing sports in close contact with nature will be able to discover all the wonders of the area by following the extensive network of nature trails extending across the entire Romagnese territory. Along these routes it will be possible to encounter many points of historical-naturalistic interest created both by nature, such as the wonderful Rivarolo waterfalls, and by man, such as the pieces along the Hannibal fords path (Route 10).
